BF/birth intervention stats

Thread Starter
I am putting together materials for a training class for BFing counselors. I am looking for a good (referenced) list of stats on many of the hospital birthing practives (i.e. epidurals, pitocin, c-sections...) and their effect on breastfeeding.

Also specific references on how long the drug(s) stay in the baby, effect, etc.. I know all of this stuff myself, but would like it in a more credible format for my class.

Any help appreciated.

TIA

Heidi- the Perinatal Associations keep track of these stats in NY. I know of the Hudson Valley Perinatal Association. I think there is one in the city as well. You may want to get in touch with them.
