This is what my awesome hubster sent out to our friends so I'm just copying here - more details to follow!!
Rainbow Monkeypants…er whoops (awesome name suggestion, Mandy)…Samuel Arthur arrived on Friday the 16th. 9 lbs 8oz, 22” long, another babyzilla. Katy did her best to go naturally (got to 10 cm herself after induction via Foley balloon) and pushed for like 7 hours or something (about 4 hours pre-epidural and 3 hours post, she had some major hip pain but was determined to keep trying since everyone was showing no signs of stress). She was a trooper but darned if Sam didn’t take after his brother and get stuck somewhere around the pelvis. Since the c-section happened we’ll be stuck at the hospital until Tuesday most likely. Everyone is happy and healthy and once we meet with our awesome doula Coral again I’ll probably have a wicked birth story to copy up to the blog (the blog’s been barren since sometime in December, I’ve been sorta waiting for Sam to write anything interesting). In the meantime pics from December until about yesterday have been uploaded. Contact me or if you need links to either of those usual places. Gotta run, everyone is doing well.
Also - after the epidural apparently (again according to my hubster) I was still pushing effectively (aka still pooping on the table). While this not the outcome I wanted - we really did everything we could to get the VBAC. And by we I'm including the hospital staff & my doctor who couldn't be more supportive of what we wanted to accomplish.

Like I said above - more details will come once I sit down with our doula who has awesome notes on teh birth - mine are very fuzzy right about probably where I was dialating from 4-9 cms.
Thank you to all you ladies for the positive vibes and good labor energy - now I'm off to enjoy my new little man and some much needed rest
