Talk with health insurance lady today

Some lady form my health care provider called today to ask me twenty questions (I'm on state aid that I am eternally greatful for so I answer there questions, they aren't hurting anyone!)

any ways, right after the question where she asked me where in the house I keep my prenatal vitamines
she asked me if I was up to date on my immunizations.
I told her "no I don't vaccinate" (which was kinda cool!)
Then she asked if I had a flu shot this year,
again I told her "no we don't vax"
then she asked if I had some other vax since becoming pregnant
again I told her "no, we don't vax"
then she said, "Oh you don't do any vaccines?"
No, none not even the flu vax

It seems to be hard to understand for some. That happened when I went to WBV last. The nurse said, "will you be gettin his shots today?" And I said "No. Not today." She paused. " Did you get his shots somewhere else recently?"
"no...no shots".
" Will you be getting a flu shot?"
"um...no. No shots. Thanks."
(confused look)
"Is he sick or on anti biotics?"

***It really stumps some. Its kind of fun I think.

It used to bug me or make me defensive. Now I try to find the fun in it.

I think it's creepy that they ask all those questions. Just because you are on State Aid doesn't mean you need to answer any questions. There is such a thing as privacy. It's none of their business.(It seems like you don't mind them), but IMO I wouldn't answer them!

normally I'm you, I don't tell anyone anything that isn't their express business. I'm just so very greatful for health insurance that I'm willing to play this game (just this once ) Then I'm back to being Suzan Noneyabusiness from boise idaho!

We also receive medical insurance through the state since DH was laid off. They've never called us to ask questions BUT when we have to call them (the general toll free number) they ask you a series of questions that must be answered before they can pull up your file to answer your question. Luckily we don't call that often but it's really annoying.

They mainly ask if we feel the person we are calling about is as healthy, less healthy or the same as last year, etc. but it's still annoying.
