That wasn't that bad. I loved when she asked if Dr Phil if he would have lunch in the bathroom, LOL

I'd like to know how it went, although I'm not hoping for much.

He is so irritating!

All I know is MIL said someone said point-blank that breastfeeding is sexual. And she said Dr. Phil didn't really take a stand on the issue as a whole. That's pretty disappointing. Although maybe I'm beginning to understand why Dr. Phil gets criticized around her on occasion.

Honestly, Dr. Phil never really takes a "stand" so to speak on any issue. Although it's obvious that he is extremely conservative, he never really comes out there and says what he thinks directly. I think it's a measure to avoid media scrutiny and to kind of "discuss" the issue without coming to any sort of conclusion. From my experience, it seems like he gives "lip service" to the "liberal" side of things, but indulges and supports arguments from the conservative side. To be completely honest, he lost my respect totally when his show featured Ann Coulter as a political commentator for the conservative side. It does frighten me that he would allow someone to say "breastfeeding is sexual" on his show because there are some people that highly regard and respect this man.

I don't know WHO would respect this man. Hes wishy washy when he brings up good topics and the rest of the time he in-your-face with 'tough love' I wish the TV in the drs office wasn't always on DR phil,

I can't believe they said breastfeeding is sexual. How? do chipmunks think its sexual too?

Dr. Phil is a moron. I refuse to watch him or hold any regard to anything that man says. Why people watch him is beyond me.

I can't remember where I read this, but somebody said something along the lines of "If breast feeding is sexual, then bottle feeding must be like using a d*ldo".

I remember hearing the dildo comment. I thought it was rather funny. Anyhow, I think Phil is a fraud (he's not even a licensed dr) and I can't stand him. He's a jerk and makes money by exploiting people's issues and degrading them. Even when his staff calls you for a show, they are just as condescending as he is. His show should be taken off the air. Seriously. I hate that man. And I'm not surprised that he wouldn't support breastfeeding. Look at his audience. Do you really think they aren't the same people who come up to you in the mall or at a restaurant and tell you to 'put that thing away' or 'you can do that elsewhere'??

Please remove all the namecalling. Thank you.

annettemarie I LOVE your picture.

When I see mom's breastfeeding their babies I see babies eating and being comforted. I don't think it's a sexual thing at all.

I am NOT a mom so if I were to adopt a child and breastfeed then for ME I'd feel a bit weird and I imagine it would feel a little strange and maybe even a little sexual. I know that not all (adoptive) mothers feel this way though.

Do people have to take down pictures of breastfeeding babies on facebook now?

I've seen so many pictures that are actually sexual in nature and they are pretty disgusting and I wouldn't want my 13 year old sister and her friends to see them. I'd be fine with them seeing a woman breastfeed though.
