Just learning about vax...I'm really upset

I fully vaxed my daughter, my son was vaxed for his first year, and then I stopped because I began seriously having doubts. I'm now 5 1/2 months pregnant and my new midwife told me to inform myself about vaccinations, she personally doesn't agree with them. So I've been reading a lot of info from the boards here and from websites like VRAN(I'm Canadian).

I am sick to think I may have allowed harm to come to my children through vaccines My dd was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 15months, just a baby. We don't have a history at all of type 1 diabetes, although autoimmune problems are rampant. It makes me cry to think if I were informed I could've stopped her from getting this horrible disease.

I still have a long way to go to educate myself, and to get my hubby on board(who is still very pro-vax). I just had to share with someone.

I am sure this must be very hard, but try to focus on the future and not the past. Knowledge can help you make the best choices going forward that you can feel good about.

There are many moms on this board who have stories very similar to yours.

They can offer better advice, but I think it is courageous and loving to be skeptical rather than hide in denial as many do.

I agree with PP. You can't change what has happened, but you can become informed for the future and your new baby. Don't beat yourself up, just be glad you are arming yourself with knowledge now. Some people never do and blindly inject all their children all their lives and never even recognize adverse events and keep doing it. I hope you can get your dH on board. There is too much evidence out there incriminating vaccines to ignore...although God knows it seems like the entire world tries!!!

((HUGS)) I agree with xmasbaby. I know this isnt' going to help you feel better, but since you said your DH is pro-vax, you may need some studies backup up not vaxing to show him. Here are links to some studies that indicate there MAY be a correlation:

Have you tried doing any reversal treatments to help with side effects that the vaxing may have caused?

You can't go back and change things in the past, so don't dwell on it. Just be thankful that you are now aware and can make changes accordingly. Many of us vaxed without thinking, so you are not alone.

Please don't beat yourself up, mama. It's not necessary and you need to focus on your future choices instead of dwelling on the past. When we know better, we do better. You're a wonderful mother for even allowing yourself to ask these questions now. Many parents don't, because the truth could be too frightening and painful. Easier to plug their ears and keep following the rest of the herd.

You are very brave.

I have crohns and I wish i would have know too before i vaxed my DD at 2 months. I just hope I stopped them in time. Only time will tell. You are doing a good thing. Hind sight is 20/20 and its best to keep moving forward. Watch Vaccine Nation on google video with your hubby. It got my hubby on board.

When we first became aware of what damage vaccines can do, we were shocked. Thank heavens we were open minded and could continue to research and move on with what had happened.

Good for you for doing the same. Your dh will join you sooner or later, I am sure. It takes men longer but they become the more outspoken, most of the time.

Yes, by all means show your dh this video on youtube -

And here is information that links diabetes I to vaccines -

Not sure where you are, but if you are in Ontario then please PM me. My sister is doing some amazing work with undoing vax damage.

I agree with pps. Don't beat yourself up, just be happy you are more informed now.
