I was on ravelry and found this pattern but it is not English... it may not be German, but was my first impression. It's soooo beautiful and I'd love to give it a shot, but....

Not German. You can try a translator if you can figure out what language it's in. It may come out as nonsense, but it looks like a pretty simple pattern, so even if some of the translation is off, you may be able to work it out.

ETA: OK, it's Finnish. I just tried a Finnish to English translator (InterTran), and it was virtually illegible. There are links on the site for translations, though. Did you look around?

Ugh, yeah, the Finnish to English translations online aren't working out very well. Finnish is a tricky tricky language.

Super cute poncho!! I hope you can get the translation - you might want to either edit the title of this thread so that any Finnish speakers here will notice it. OR you could try to just decipher the translation here.

I happen to be German, and an avid knitter. I would have loved to help you out, but that is definitely not German.
Hope you get it figured out!

Pretty much everybody in Finland speaks English - you can try sending them an e-mail asking them to translate it for you.

ETA: If you click on info. there is an English link and they have a bunch of stuff on the site already translated.
