Is there a group for people who buy yarn, spend hours a day thinking of yarn and who can't seem to leave the LYS without picking up several varities, weights and materials?

I went MBOY shopping today and bought way to much. I'll share after sending out my MBOY.

Isn't it fun? It is always MBOY time that gets me too. I love to go in and pet and I don't know why so much of it has to follow me home

Magic Ball of Yarn- you take some yummy yarns, wrap goodies in and around it and swap it with another Mom.

I've only been knitting for about a month (maybe 5 weeks) and every time I leave the house I want to go to the LYS. I'm about out of Christmas money so I better get some control - quick!!! I ***love*** MBOY shopping!

Yes. Ravelry. Go post pictures of your stash immediately and then read the Yarn Harlot for validation and further enablement.

If you really want to slow down on your stashing, check out the Frugality and Finances board.

But you do need a good sized stash, I think. It gives inspiration, it's nice to pet and smell, and if you really need busy hands, you will already have what you need to create something beautiful.

I think that you need to destash by sending me some (or most) of your yarn. You will begin to appreciate the simplicity of having only one or two balls of really basic, wool yarn in the house (having only the basics on hand will allow your imagination to soar). In time, you will get to the point where you can happily knit only air.

I will, of course, take excellent care of your yarns until they reach their majority. They will live here in my moth-free, temperature and humidity controlled home, where they can roll around and play with other fibres from many different backgrounds and nationalities. I will send you regular updates about them, including photos at birthdays and Christmas.

I offer this service out of the goodness of my heart, and not for any personal benefit.
