Artichoke dip!

So, I've been missing this for years. All that cheesy, creamy goodness. So I decided to puree some marinated artichoke hearts (marinated in oil and herbs) in the food processor and then heat it in the microwave. It's tasty with rice crackers! It would be better with bread, but not gf bread

Sounds good, and I have artichokes right now. i had a dip like that at a HFS a while back, and I fell all over myself eating it, it was just soooo good.

I don't even really like artichokes but I am almost salivating thinking about how good that sounds.

this is a really good idea. now, the question is: what were they marinated in?

I have a recipe that my SIL used to make that was called an antipasto dip that she served with melba toast. I've been thinking about it alot lately, but I don't know what I'd put it on - I'm not a fan of the rice crackers.

I usually just cut up bread oil and season it and toast it. It is pretty good. Mmmmm makes me want some. I haven't made bread in a while. Maybe tomorrows project.

I need to try to make a baguette type bread. I wonder if I can adapt the recipe I use for DH... Then I could cut it thin and put some olive oil and heat it like a crostini. Tomorrow will probably be a snow day. Maybe that's a good project. I wonder if I have the stuff for the dip... I don't think I have any artichokes... bummer.

That sounds so yummy! I wish I had some artichokes on hand to do it and alas it's a snow day so we're home bound. Maybe I can make some pumpkin bread!
