Biting the bullet

Finally taking out soy (very soon any way... I'm not throwing out my soy stuff, but will be replacing it as it's used up).
Hit me with the good stuff, ladies. Hidden names, good dairy-free, gf, soy-free, egg-free (preferably nut free) subs... You know, that stuff.
Is there a decent allergen free cheese substitute?
Ugh.

http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/allergy.htm Scroll down to see what a soy-free diet means.

I don't think soy is that hard actually. I guess because I'm corn and wheat-free already, I don't find much that has soy in it. Soy sauce and asian food is something I miss, but you can sort of get the flavor with ginger and garlic (we can't do sesame oil either). There are a couple soy sauce sub recipes out there with beef broth, balsamic vinegar and molasses (just google for the different variations). I haven't tried it yet, but I want to. The Enjoy Life chocolate chips are soy free.

Good luck, hon!
