DH is Welsh and Filipino (with a little Ecuadorian somewhere), I'm completely unknown white :
This picture was at less than a week old, the baby has gotten much more golden since and is now darker than me (he was rather pink there, which turned to jaundice and then cleared up)

The way she looks has been the topic of many people's conversations, especially when her hair is down (it is really straight). I also get a lot of "You're so pale, she's so dark, how is that possible?" as well as the endless speculations about her ethnicity (most go with Indian).

Everyone's children are so beatiful.
