My understanding is that the Doctor is SUPPOSED to get younger and younger as he regenerates, at least that's the way it's always been. Makes you wonder how young he will be with the last regeneration!

There are many videos released of the originals, but surely not every single one of them. That would be a LOT.

I believe I have seen every single one of the originals except maybe one. Huge fan of the originals. Went to a few conventions when they were touring the U.S. in the 80's and have some autographs.

Have watched a few of the new ones, but they just don't seem the same to me because I am so used to the originals. Someday I would like to watch the new ones though, kinda tough with working full time, catering to the kid, and trying to keep up with my other Brit show, EastEnders.

I did see some of the premier ep of the Sarah Jane Chronicles. That looked interesting.

H was hoping he'd at least stick around for a season with Moffat as the head writer, but I guess he's worried about being typecast if he stays 'too long' (not sure how 2 seasons is too long, though) Russell T destroyed the ends of so many stories & all of Moffat's have been amazing. I do not like the new guy, but H thinks we should try to give him the benefit of the doubt since he was apparently Moffat's choice.

I wouldn't worry about them running out of regenerations, they'll just mess with the world/story to make it so there can be more if they need to.
Don't know why you're mad at Tennant. He's lasted longer than most. He wants to leave before his interpretation gets stale which is totally valid. Most shows get boring after 3-4 years and it's time for a change up. That's how this show works.

1. First Doctor, played by William Hartnell (1963–1966)
2. Second Doctor, played by Patrick Troughton (1966–1969)
3. Third Doctor, played by Jon Pertwee (1970–1974)
4. Fourth Doctor, played by Tom Baker (1974–1981)
5. Fifth Doctor, played by Peter Davison (1981–1984)
6. Sixth Doctor, played by Colin Baker (1984–1986)
7. Seventh Doctor, played by Sylvester McCoy (1987–1989, 1996)
8. Eighth Doctor, played by Paul McGann (1996)
9. Ninth Doctor, played by Christopher Eccleston (2005)
10. Tenth Doctor, played by David Tennant (2005–2010)
11. Eleventh Doctor, to be played by Matt Smith (2010–)

I'm another Doctor Who fan with a mad crush on David Tennant. I liked Christopher Eccleston so much that I didn't think I'd like Tennant, but I changed my mind about that not far into his first episode, and I hate that he's leaving. At least there are his four special episodes to look forward to, right? We don't have cable, so we've been getting the series from Netflix; just finished up Season 4 last night and I'm already impatient for more.

I really enjoyed the original series, especially Tom Baker and Peter Davison (I had a huge crush on him, too!). I need to add some of those episodes to my queue.
