Looking for non vax dr in Miami, Fl area

Hi, I am new to the board and I really need help finding a new ped. for my kids. My dd is 3 and ds is 1. DD has all her shots to date and DS had all his shots up to his 1st well baby check up. When ds was 9 months old, dh & I decided to stop vaxing both kids. When we took ds for his 1 year check up and we talked to his ped she pretty much said that if we don't vax then we would have to find a new dr. So here I am looking for a new one. Also, the kids have medicaid and I'm worried that they will be dropped from medicaid because of our decision.
If anyone is from my area and knows of a dr i'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Try posting on the Tribes board...you may get a better response. Here are all the fL no vax friendly docs, not sure if any are near Miami or not
Also check out your local chapter of Holistic Moms network http://home.homewebs.com/hmnmiamifl/. Lots of holistci moms don't vax their kids and may have some names for you.
Good luck. I know they are hard to find and BTW Medicaid Can't drop you for not vaxing. That would be illegal.

Thank you. I actually just switch the kids primary to Dr. Fang-Patrick. I'm going to make an appointment with her so she can get to know the kids. Dh is going to come with me to the appointment as well. He feels strongly about not vaxing, he's the one who gave me all the info not to vax.

That is great...usually it's the dads that are the ones who get the info from the moms Good luck with this new doc!
