The first baby born this year in Salida, Colorado was a homebirth! It made me very happy to read so I thought I would share the positive news! Here is the newspaper article link:

Oh how sweet. My grandfather was born in Salida in 1908.

What a darling photo. And that was a nice story. I like how it stated really simply why the mother chose a homebirth.
