Medical Intuitive - Page 2

I met with the medical intuitive yesterday morning by phone. It was really interesting. We went through the foods I am eating and a bunch of other foods and she told me whether the foods were ok or not. The foods she said were not ok are:

- buckwheat (which I'm currently eating), wheat, oatmeal, gluten
- kidney beans (except in small amounts)
- corn fed meat (pastured, free range is ok), duck
- cane sugar (except in small amonts, I'm currently eating some of this)
- melons, grapes (because of the yeast on the grapes), strawberries, rhubarb
- nightshade family (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant), celery, lettuces, spinach (except in small amounts), corn (including any derivatives), broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, kale, onion, yams/sweet potatoes (which I trialed yesterday and appears to be a fail)
- coffee (because of the caffeine)
- soy
- any pepper spices, curry, cumin, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, allspice
- dairy
- water kefir (for DD directly, I can have it)
- chamomile tea
- alcohol (because of yeast)
- raisins
- palm oil
- coconut
- kombucha (because of yeast)
- mushrooms
- peanuts
- eggs

She said we both have yeast issues but no issues with adrenal fatigue. She said I should give DD bifidus directly, get lots of sun (morning/evening sun), massage abdomen clockwise when colicky or bottom of feet using reflex points. She said the ocean will be one of DD's loves and to play ocean waves in her bedroom (we already do this). She said I am low in iron, B vitamins, iodine, calcium, vit E, and vit A. She said to not take huge amounts of vit C. She said olive leaf extract (such as in tea form) would be good for the yeast.

She said her sources said a good website would be breakingtheviciouscycle.info. She also said to put an air filtration unit in DD's bedroom and that she was sensitive to dust mites, dander, and mold. She said DD was an extremely alert and sensitive child and will be very touch, visual, and mouth oriented. She said to be very cautious of vaccines and no combo vaccines.

I was careful to not ask leading questions. I asked open-ended questions and just took in what she said. I'm not sure what to do with all this info. Some of the foods she said are ok I don't think are ok (at least they weren't several months ago). I know I won't trial foods I think are bad, but I am thinking of taking buckwheat out of my diet and only using cane sugar to make my water kefir. If buckwheat ends up being bad I will really be a believer. I really thought yams would be okay and it looks like she was right and they failed!

Oh, she also said we will have another baby, a boy, and I should test positive for the pregnancy in October. She also said that baby will not have nearly the problems DD has had and that DD will grow out of most of her intolerances by the time she is 18 mos. I certainly hope she's right!

interesting, thanks for sharing!

That's so interesting. So, how did you know what to think about before the appt? It's interesting that she pointed you to the Breaking the Vicious Cycle site, that's the SCD (Specific Carbohydrate Diet) which we are doing right now. I am going to do this too but I feel like I'm not quite sure what to ask. I want to know if what we are doing is helping and what to do next (I have some ideas but not sure what to try first), and if there is anything we are doing now that we shouldn't be doing. Because what we are doing now is helping but then some days we have setbacks and I have no idea what it was from.

That;s very encouraging that she said she will outgrow all this, and that your next baby won't have nearly the issues. That's very encouraging! Sounds like overall it was a good thing.

I would definitely look at the SCD if I were you, it does make a lot of sense, and is helping us.

She just said to come with a list of questions. I posted my list of questions in an earlier post. Once I told her the issue she kind of led the discussion, asking what I was eating and telling me as we went what was good and bad. I would suggest having a good list of foods you want to ask about. Then go through what you are doing and hopefully she will tell you if it's working. Let us know how it goes!

Interesting stuff! Keep us posted on the buckwheat.

That's very cool that she said she'll outgrow it by 18 months, and congrats in advance for the new baby!

How exciting! I think I would compare her results with my crystal testing and take it from there... definitely eliminating anything that correlated for at least a six week trial before reintegrating things one at a time into the diet. Yay for potential outgrowing and another baby!

Sounds like you got a lot of good information! Thanks for sharing. And yeah, we have been doing the SCD for a few years now. It's a great diet for gut healing.

You are likely thinking of Mona Lisa Schultz, MD. She was the first intuitive I ever spoke with. It was my first appointment and it was pretty amazing.

That's her! I used to have one of her books somewhere, but I think it's still stashed away in a box. She was really something.

This sound really neat. I went to a palm reader/intuitive last year, and I want to go again in February when we'll be in NJ. Do they specifically have to be a medical intuitive, or would a regular intuitive know what to do? This would be awesome since I'll have the kids with me. Maybe I'll email her and find out if she knows anything about it. That would save me some trouble trying to figure out what's up with DS these days. It would be AWESOME. I'm psyched for this (no pun intended).

I think some intuitives pick up on medical stuff but everyone tends to have things they pick up on more readily or tune in to more easily. I am good at picking up on abusive situations, for example, and usually know when someone is involved in a relationship that is obsessive or controlling. I have finely tuned 'freak radar.' It's saved me on at least 2 occasions from dangerous situations that turned out badly for someone else. Some people just tune in to certain things better than others. I can't always tell when someone is lying to me, which is really irritating, because you would think that would be easy.

When I'm really 'on' I pick up on a little bit of everything, but I have never been able to get timing. I used to know a woman who could nail down timing and tell when things would happen, but she hasn't been doing readings for a while.

I still don't know why or how it works, it just is.

I figure if you want to know specifically about medical things, you're better off going to someone who bills themselves as a medical intuitive. I don't trust anyone who says they are never wrong or they have a 100% accuracy rate, no matter what their specialty is. We all miss things or misinterpret stuff at times.

I'm working on a Ph.D. in Holistic Health, so I pick up on medical stuff all the time (but I don't call myself a medical intuitive.) And actually, the intuitive I love and speak to from time to time that I posted about above - I don't think she bills herself as a medical intuitive, but that's mostly what I consult w/her about - or at least how I started w/her.

Totally. Energy is constantly changing too - so even if someone can pick up on something today, doesn't necessarily mean it can be picked up on tomorrow kwim?

exactly. and sometimes something hits you long afterwards and you go that's what that was! (like my fighting people who were really positive imagery of good cells beating up bad cells in a cancer patient)
