Which one would everyone recommend?

Well, my initial reaction is, both!

They are both very nice carriers, but in my opinion, different as night and day.

Can you give us more info on why you are considering each or some specifics on what you are looking for so that we could give you better info?

I agree with the PP -- more info is needed. How old your baby?

I like the Babyhawk for a newborn, but once the baby started getting heavy, I preferred the Ergo or the Beco.

yeah, I'd get both if you can swing it.

One is a Mei Tai and the other a Soft-structured carrier. Different function, I use both kinds depending on what we are doing.

I want a carreir that is super easy to put on in the car because I want it for grocery shopping and running erands. My car seat does not fit over the front of a shopping cart.

if you go for the BH you can pretie at home, put baby in when you get there & tighten

this is what I do / you look a bit silly in you're car w/ an empty carrier on but I've stopped worrying about that

hotsling

I like my hotsling (or a similar style...) for quick in and out errands. Super easy to put on and pop the lo in and out.

For me the Ergo has had a steeper learning curve than the Moby. I would try to find a store that sells them and play with them a bit. If I had done that I would never have bought the Ergo.

I have a babyhawk and I love it. I've never used an ergo, but I've heard that they don't fit short people very well. And since I'm pretty short, I went with the Babyhawk. I LOVE it!

If it were me, I'd get the Babyhawk now and the Ergo later. Babyhawk is less bulky with a little newborn IMO.
