BTDT? "Skid Marks" and kegel devices?

Hey everyone,
Here's an embarrassing question:
I had a wonderful HBAC to a 10+ lb boy 14 months ago, and the pushing was hard, (nuchal hand) and I had "skid marks" and some loss of muscle action inside for a while... I couldn't "Kegel" properly for many months. Just no response. Had torn muscles in there, and some nerve involvement. Wanted to get a kegel device, but no idea which was best or better.... so I put it off an kegeled and waited, and sure enough Mother Nature healed things in there. I can now "contract" my inner space IYKWIM, but I have an embarrassing... ahem... "air bubble" issue during intercourse that I think is due to weak muscles.

Can anyone tell me their experiences with various kegel devices? I know there are gravity ones, spring ones, etc etc. They aren't cheap, and I don't want to go trial and error on this. Any and all input is welcome.

Ok let me understand, when you have sex, air enters and then makes a funny noise when your partner thrusts? Is that what we are talking about??? Or should I be super embarrassed right now.. LMAO

I know a woman who swears by the "jade egg" to tone. She's a pilates instructor. I think I'll make the investment and try them out after this next birth to tone things back up

I have that plus bladder issues, and my dd is 3 next week.

I have had success with the Myself pelvic toner. I have heard great things about BenWa balls, I own a pair, but I seem to prefer the Myself device. There is a big price difference though.

The issue I was struggling with was incontinence issues from sneezing, jogging, bouncing, etc. With regular exercise, the issue has been resolved. :

Assuming that is what you are talking about, I have had that happen to me since before I had a vaginal delivery or was even pregnant.

I thought it was normal! LOL

As for stress incontinence that started after I was pregnant, had my DD. My mother juts had to have a hysterectomy and have her prolapsed bladder and rectum fixed. Weak muscles to blame from genetics and deep episiotomies. Her specialist told her to have me start Kegels now and they are the best thing for me to do. I know that isn't much help, but I feel your pain!
