So this isn't directly related to circ or foreskins, but it made me think of this forum.
My DS (just turned 4) gets these little pimply things on his cheeks. They aren't horribly noticible, but they drive me nuts. I'm always careful to just wipe them with a wet washcloth in the bath and leave them alone. I imagine dry skin causes them cause he gets them more in winter.
Well yesterday one got a bit infected. It looked like a real pimple and I know he's entirely too young for puberty. Like a bad mommy, I tried to mess with it and he slapped my hand away and said, "No mommy! I like my pimples. They came out of my body so they are supposed to be there!"
It made me realize that if and when he notices he's different from his dad, it won't be a difficult conversation. If he can accept pimples as part of his body, he won't be mad we didn't choose to cut off his foreskin to look like dad.
