3rd Reaction the "Big One"--Fact or Fiction?

Just wondering if this is an old wives tale or not. DD2 is peanut-allergic and just had her first two reactions, which were manageable, but wonder if the next one is going to be catastrophic, being the third one.

I've actually never heard that. But ana reactions usually are more severe each time, so maybe that's where it comes from. I hope that you have an EpiPen.

Considering allergies can develop at any time and at any age, I don't think that's true. However, you can never be too careful with peanuts. You've got an epipen, right?

I'm getting an epipen on Monday, for sure. Perhaps the myth comes from the increasing severity of reactions? I don't know, but I'm freaked out, that's all.
