Our paper said today that the lead law was giving a dispensation to libraries that have lead in the ink of some older books, so I think the "keep the kids away from the lead" is going to be less of a problem than we think perhaps..

our library has just gotten together all books with a copyright date of 1985 or before. they have to get rid of them or the librarian is subject to a $100,000 fine PER BOOK!

can anyone tell me if the lead stay applies to books as well....
