Would anyone like to discuss this new book proposing an agenda for a new economy based on local living economies, sustainable food systems, local small scale entrepreneurship, and revaluing to our wealth to put our true assets first: happy healthy children, a clean environment, good community relationships rather than corporate profits. It seems like a great book. I'm about to order it. Anyone want to join me?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I just discovered David Korten and am excited to read more of his ideas. I love the idea of an ethical alternative to Wall Street... I'm subbing and look forward to posting when I get my hands on his book.

Great, Sassafrass! I'm excited to discuss it with someone! I'm just starting the book, but I've seen a few of his talks on it already, so I'm excited! I'll post more, as soon as I get going.
In the mean time, here's an interview with Korten for anyone that is interested!
