Preparing for Treasure Map 2009 - Page 21

I don't know, lovin'leo, but I do a combination. I do mine on the computer then print it out and hang it up. One year I even had each section in 4x6 sizes to put in a small photo album.

Using it as the desktop background doesn't last the whole year for me. My husband inevitably changes it.

eta - meant to also say that I'm not sure what necessarily works better. I tend to dream smart rather than big on my TMs. :

so it's like 7:30 in the morning my time (EDT) and i wondered about everyone's serious upheavals, cause i haven't had any to speak of.

then i woke up around 4am with food poisoning

i know what the culprit was. i had some pudding yesterday that was made days ago, from milk that was on the edge of being questionable, but i couldn't taste it cause it had pumpkin and lots of strong spices in it (clove, cinnamon).

dang, i feel like i've been hit by a truck.

ugh. if it's anything like the food poisoning I had yesterday, it should be gone in a few hours. I forced myself to throw up to get everything out. Between 2pm and 7pm yesterday I thought I was going to die, then it just went away. Hoping for a speedy recovery!

Have a speedy recovery

Its 11.30 ams here and 4.5hrs until new moon, I have cleaned and mopped the house and dropped off the last bags and boxes Phew!

I am probably going to have a visit from af tomorrow. it kind of makes me in a bad mood - I wonder if that is going to adversely effect my TM. (cause I am a royal beyotch and feel like crap today.)

Thanks! It was a very short lived illness and now I feel fine.

Just envision af as a decluttering of your uterus. And a nice way to start the new moon.
LOLOL OMG a decluttering of the uterus!! I love that!!!

I couldn't get to sleep to save my life last night. I wasn't jittery and I wasn't caught up in *thinking* I just could NOT sleep... until about 4... and was up at 7:30. Oy.

I am really looking forward to the new moon energy this afternoon!

Have fun everyone!

last big decluttering push . . . i ordered a dumpster yesterday (to be dropped off today and picked up tomorrow) and started ripping up carpet! dh has to finish today and get it all in the dumpster tonight. a little late? maybe. still happy about it (and about the other crap that is on its way to said dumpster).

good morning all. annakiss glad to hear of your peaceful turn of mood. i am in the throes of turning around this morning. started the day with a dog in the car and two kids on the way to the vet. i hadn't thought to grab a coat and found us locked out of the house with no car keys. that was fun. turns out i had put them on the top of the car and all turned out well but that was one heck of the way to start the day. just felt like the world was pushing me down as i'm in a huge emotional flux with dh - i have faith that it will bring us through to a stronger place but it is tricky right now, money problems due to huge reduction in income, and technical difficulties in resolving my car accident from last year. but wow it just feels like i'm being smooshed.

Tracy - I'm holding your words from your post last night of yesterday was yesterday. trying to keep pushing through this morning and get into a calmer place.

i appreciate the ? about capricorns. i am a jan 10 child myself.

So excited to do this! I still have a lot of "balsamic" stuff to do as far as decluttering, cleaning, etc, but not for lack of working on it. It's just I live with a 4yo, 2yo, and now 1mo, so that explains that. I know from experience that next year's balsamic phase will be a much more productive decluttering time for me. So for now I'll do what I can.

DH has been working LONG hours and my car is still in the shop SO, no new magazines here. I suppose I might be able to go get some tomorrow morning. In the meantime I was thinking of printing out some images I find online. I might use some old magazines, too (perish the thought!!!)

BTW, I've had pretty good success with my last two TMs.

well...i lean physically....but it is really up to you. why don't you decide after new moon and see what 'calls' you.

Thanks for the article Tracy, I read it last night and think I might go back for a re-read now as I'm feeling restless and wanting the next 2.5hrs to pass quickly!

Anyone else feeling tearful today?

I am feeling anticipatory... positive and hopeful.

I'm not feeling overly anxious to get started... more calm than anything. It's a good feeling

Whew! It took two full days (and you guys added three pages while I was doing it!), but I finally read through the whole thread! I swear I commented on it a while back, but I couldn't find my post, so I have no idea what happened. Darn pregnancy brain! I'm looking forward to getting my TM done. We are expecting a blizzard very shortly, so I will most likely be snowed in this afternoon and tomorrow with lots of time to do my TM! I was in a serious decluttering mode yesterday, and I'm still there today. With us being snowed in, the kiddos may decide to do a TM with me - that would be cool. I am going to carve out some time all by myself to do some of it though. Being an introvert, I imagine I will want some alone time, but we'll see!

If you can't buy new magazines, you can always print images off the Internet. A friend of mine gets hers from Flickr and she reports amazing success from last year's map:

New magazines? Ugh... well that puts this project off for several days to never.

I don't feel great about using online photos, as I've had several photos stolen for profit.
