Is it just me, or did those of you who read the last book expect that Edward & Co. were going to find a bunch of Greek vampires for backup? I mean, for some reason, the child made me think of those 1/2 god Greek heros, like Hercules, who grew swiftly & were super strong; & if vampires can be in sunlight, but it makes them sparkly, wouldn't that be a glowing god-like effect? So maybe all those powerful, talented, quarreling gods, Zeus & Hera & so forth could have been vampires? I'm just wondering..... (& may not have all the names straight)

I read the books because my pre-teen begged me to let her read them. I must say I enjoyed them very much. We talked about how I thought Bella could have handled the break up a little better and I also told her she wasn't allowed to date a vampire!
