i too have fear about Hib especially after the recent reports. and i too end up going crazy if i let fear take over. and i too feel that being a mother is the most incredible loving experience and by loving so much we worry so much!!! so, you are NOT alone.
however, i recently posted a thread about being "on the fence" with Hib and i got some good responses. one of them linked me to this radio show with two doctors: palevsky and neustaedter. i have been to a vaccination lecture with dr. palevsky. very enlightening. he is anti vax and continues to research the effect of vaccines. check it out, it might ease some of your fears.
