It will be one year since my 13 year old niece died of leukemia. I think about all she would have been, all she would have done and all the places she would have gone if she'd had the chance to grow up. So, tonight, at 6:50 PM CST, all you amazing mothers around the world, in all the places she didn't get to go, think of her, say her name (Jami). If she didn't get to go, at least the thought of her is there, if only for a moment.
I would love it if you replied from where you are...I don't know why. Thank you!


I just miss that amazing kid like crazy!

It was heartbreaking, but I remember you talking about how gracefully your niece had handled it all. She will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm a little late but I said her name and saw her having a beautiful hot air balloon ride.
You sound like a wonderful aunt. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I'm sorry I missed this thread till today. My heart goes out to you and your family. I understand your pain and heartache. My nephew died 4 months ago from leukemia. I don't think there is any pain that can compare to losing a child.
I am thinking of Jami and you today. :
