Ronan started with a head cold two weeks ago and now it's gone into his lungs. He's ok for most of the day/night, but he does go into little coughing fits. I thought he was getting better today but then he coughed for about ten minutes this afternoon. He could stop himself for 10-15 seconds at a time, but then he would start up again.
Poor little thing was sweating and crying toward the end of it
I called the midwife right after that and she came over a little bit later and checked on his lungs.
She said he looked so good that she was surprised when she listened to them.
She brought a nebulizer for me to use (just saline in it), and I have some chest rub I'm using. She said she will be back on thurs. to check on him, and of course to call if he got any worse.
If he's not noticeably better in the next two days we will be taking him in to see the Dr.
I'd really appreciate your prayers/thoughts/good vibes, it's so hard to see such a wee one sick.
