What are they hoping to change by pushing it back? They just want to give people more time to get their TVs updated?

We're not really "ready" but we'll probably go TV-free once the conversion happens. We know too many people who use antennas (not cable or satellite) and have upgraded their technology, only to have the HD part work only intermittantly. People who live out in the country (like we do) don't get a strong enough signal and so see nothing. People who live in the city have their signals scrambled by planes flying overhead. I don't see a reason to upgrade when there are still so many problems with the system. But I don't see how a delay of only a few months is going to change anything.
