My Beco butterfly isn't recalled is it?!

I bought the old kind but it DOES have the safety straps (need two hands to push the button and open them) was the recall just the loop through straps old kind? also i hear that the beco butterfly II has a "safety" something- - - - is the old one not safe for som reason ? THANKS

Yours is fine if it has the oval button on the buckle that you have to depress while pushing in on the sides of the buckle.

Both are equally safe. The major difference between I and II is that the infant insert in II is adjustable and removable. But as far as the safety and general structure, they are the same.
