Where to buy eco-friendly paint? And cheap buttons?

I'm looking to paint some old wood frames with new paint, but I'd like it to be eco-friendly, non-toxic, etc. Does anyone know here can I buy some? I've seen it online, but I'd like to see it in person and I only need a small can - not a big one. Also, is there such a thing as eco-friendly primer? If there's anywhere that I can buy the paint wholesale (I have a seller's permit), I'd LOVE that.

Secondly, where can I find a good assortment of bargain buttons?

I'm really trying not to spend a lot on these projects.

TIA!

my DH works at a place that sells Mythic it is a paint that has no VOC's. It's not craft paint, but you can buy smaller amounts of it (don't need to buy a gallon). You could check their website maybe thay have a list of retailers.

Google "milk paint," or "how to make..." milk paint. That might be an inexpensive, non-toxic route.

As for buttons. Thrift/antique shops are cool places to find them.

Hope that helps.
