All your friends are having babies left and right!!! I probably have about 10 pregnant friends. It is a TON of work but I'm getting through.

I did save my cousin's boy though, I know for sure! :::

I'm 26, a lot of my friends are with kids, too, but you know what, take time to enjoy life right now. I love kids to death, I can't wait to have kids, but sometimes enjoying life right now, as it is, without kids, it's pretty cool. Once you get kids, a lot of what YOU want to do will be put on hold. Give it time, don't be so anxious.

HUGS.:

Well I already have a son. Too late for me, haha, j/k

I was actually referring to how hard it is convince all my pregnant friends that they should not circumcise their sons. It's so much work to get them up to speed and explain to them the ins and outs of circ and how it is completely unnecessary. It is exhausting!!!

well...... things happen for a reason!

I totally understand!! I'm 29 and so happy to report my bestest friends all have intact sons!!! :

Spread the word!! Intact is Back!! (as my SoCal girlfriend says, )

Wow, all your friends and you're in Georgia! That's great.

I'm a couple weeks from 27, and all my friends have baby boys, and I didn't get through to them. (We live in MIchigan where the circ rate is still quite high.) BUT I keep trying, and posting things all over my facebook and stuff. You can't give up, becauase if yous ave even one child from it, then you have succeeded. (I hope.)

Even if you don't directly save one child that you know of (other than your own), being an intactivist and spreading the message makes the world a better place and helps get the word out and helps change the cultural mindset. : HUGE karma points IMO!

OP, I am actually a bit envious as I'm 40 and most of my friends and all of my family have already had their babies. I do what I can IRL but I don't have as many targets of opportunity!

Well, my friends are all kind of spread around, but yes, many in GA, FL (where I grew up), NC, TX... really "The South". Of course I have some crunchy CA friends. It's so neat to have so many friends on board with "the cause"!!!!!

I'm 27 and the first to have a baby among my friends. They are all miles from having kids... Even my 33 year old sister thinks she wants kids when she's closer to 40...
The good thing: most my friends are in Europe and all think circumcision is not necessary - it's a religious thing in our minds... Yeah that.
My Dh's cousin is pregnant and due in March, I'm pretty sure she'll circumsize - I am not sure though. I don't know her well enough to ask the question. I guess she's in for it as she is already looking forward to her epidural and doesn't question much what doctors say

All good place to be pushing the rates down. Now if we could just get all those who didn't circumcise to more strongly advocate against circumcision. I found many remain a bit indifferent.

Tip: I met someone that was having a boy and I emailed her some information the following day after I met her. You can always just ask for an email and do it that way. Sometimes this is easier b/c you can give them videos and links to explore. You'd be surprised at how open minded younger moms can be. It never hurts to try.

I never thought of it like that! Thank you!
