She's 17 - maybe 18.

I feel seriously old. And a little sad for her that she'll never understand the amazingness of NKOTB.

I sent her links to youtube videos to enlighten her.

I feel old when they play music I grew up with, or skated to at skating parties, on the local classic rock station. I'm 30. Wonder if she knows what a skating party is?

I hear ya! My 15 year old sister makes me feel old all the time. She didn't even know who Boys II Men or N*Sync were!!!

As I was a teenager in the 1980's I totally missed NKOTB, thank the goddess. Bet she doesn't know who Duran Duran was either.

Um, I'm too old for New Kids On The Block. Guess that makes me really old.

My "wow, I'm a really old mom" moment came at playgroup when DD was a baby. I was wearing an Eagles t-shirt from their 2003-2004 tour. This very young mom said, "Oh, the Eagles. I remember they were big when I was in Jr. High." I thought back and realized that was the Hell Freezes Over reunion tour - when I was in grad school!

NKOTB - my first concert. How much was I in love with Joey Mcintyre? : My entire room was NKOTB (I'm lazy so I type it that way but I HATE When people say it "NKOTB", blech), down to pics covering my ceiling - every square inch.

I was talking about Bobby Brown the other day and said how I had his tape when I was DD's age. She looked at me and said "What's a tape?" *sigh*
