Hello mommies and mommies to be(like me),
As my name suggests I will be a first time mommy this summer. We are expecting our bundle of joy to make his or her entrance into the world July 5, 2009. While my hunny is wanting a boy, I could really care less about the sex as long as our little one has 10 fingers and 10 toes (is healthy). We have already decided on names but are keeping them secret until the big day when our bundle gets here. I'm also leaning more towards not finding out the sex of the baby so I can be overwhelmed with joy when he or she gets here.

We are planning to do things differently than a lot of people in our respective families. Some of them won't understand which is why we have yet to tell them.
: We will be using cloth diapers and are planning a home birth, as we feel this will best suit our own personal beliefs and be what's best for out little one. If it came down to us HAVING to be in a medical facility we would definitely choose a birthing center, however with the nearest one being in 2 hours away we decided on the home birth.
We had begun enjoying a healthier lifestyle prior to us finding out we were with child but have gotten an even greater kick out of it now since we are responsible for this growing being in my belly. We are eating even more fresh fruits and vegetables and have been eating organic. (Side note: How sad is it that you have to pay more to eat healthier. You can get a fattening cheeseburger for $1 but you can't get a healthy ANYTHING for $1) . We'll do what is best for our bodies, minds, and spirits as well as that of our baby.
