I have been reading as much around here as I can but I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed with all the information

I'm still debating whether or not to replace my amalgam (started another thread about that...) but I am so confused about what to do as far as mercury detox.
Can someone break it down for me and answer these questions without adding too many extraneous words?
What (and how much) should I take BEFORE the removal?
What should I take AFTER the removal?
How long do I need to detox?
Is it really necessary to have mercury levels tested?
How much time should be allowed for detox before TTC?
