Ravelry friends?

Thread Starter
I've been knitting for all of about 3 weeks. :

I'm on Ravelry (is anyone NOT in love with Ravelry?) and would love to add more friends to get even more inspiration from.

My Ravelry username is indywhited

Anyone else want to share their username here so that we can chat 'there' too?

I love Ravelry! My name on there is Beauty (Robin McKinley fan ). I haven't been knitting much lately, but once things settle down here I'll be able to get back in the groove.

I recently joined Ravelry (same username) and love it! It makes me want to hide away and knit for a week (or month) straight

Ravelry is like facebook for fibercrafts - knitting, crochet, spinning and dyeing... It is also the biggest timesuck! So watch out....

But very cool; you can share what you are working on, search a huge database for patterns (all of which have been linked to projects actual people are working on) or yarns (and see pictures of them knitted up) and create your own wish list (called your queue) of patterns one day you'd like to do....

Basically, you must join!

Squeeeee! I'll add all of you in as my friends as soon as baby diva...I mean my adorable daughter...allows me more time online. :

I just finished a scarf for my husband...literally my 2nd project ever...and it turned out awesome!!! (Pix will have to wait for me to go buy a new camera...since ours broke last month...)

Now I'm working on some simple cotton 'baby legs' for the aforementioned love-o-my-life.

After that, I have some awesome denim-y looking wool that I want to use to make myself some fingerless gloves.

I love all the free patterns available for download!!

Ok, I got all of you except Gingerstar and Alexzanders Mama into my friends list...but I'll add you too if I know your username.

FWIW, it's not a huge timesuck for me...it saves me time. I put in details about my projects, stash and needles and then I don't have to go look through everything to see what I have. Plus, with all the free, and really inexpensive patterns, I'm saving a ton over going to the store and buying patterns.

Yep, that's my story and I'm sticking with it...especially if dh asks.

Especially since, as of this morning, he's no longer: :
