Anyone else with difficult to explain pain near clitoris?

Hi all,

I had a vaginal birth 12/31 - 4 wks ago - and had a slight tear down that was stitched + a slight tear up that was too small to stitch. Both have healed (MW touched them; they did not hurt) but I still have a weird, hard to explain pain (besides what I imagine is the normal, tired, pelvic floor ache) that I haven't heard other women talk about.

It's a twang that happens for 1-3 seconds when I move from lying or seated to seated or standing, is aggravated by walking more than a few blocks, and can be felt when I touch to the right of my clitoris (esp. after walking more than a few blocks).

Has anyone experienced something like this? How long did it take to heal? What could it be? I'm nervous things are "broken" down there and it'll affect cumming or sex...

For now I am "doing nothing" as much as possible (as tough as that is for me) to try to facilitate its healing.

Thank you!

Not sure if it's the same, but I have had some pain that seems to be behind my clitoris, but not quite in the pubic bone area. I've felt it more when peeing, but also when moving certain ways. It seems to be subsiding, and I'm almost 3 wks postpartum. I see my MW next week, so I'll ask her about it. Sounds like your situation is more serious and has lasted longer.

Not in your DDC, but I know exactly what you are talking about. I had this for... it seems like quite awhile after giving birth, two months at least. It wasn't the worst thing in the world, but I was pretty sure my clit was broken or something.

It was hypersensitive and would almost ache when I wiped. It did go away, though.

I'm guessing some vaginal toning through kegals would speed it along?

I have this too. I googled it and most women said it goes away 4-6 weeks PP.

I think this might be what I have, although my clit has always been super hypersensitive, which little Lincoln probably didn't help when he came out! I also know that I got one stitch right near it (the MW couldn't numb it b/c it was too close to my clit ) so that might be adding to it.

I have something like that, but it feels more like a ligament pain, esp when I've done something strenuous in the way of walking...
