Has anyone tried those Muffy foreign language tapes? We're thinking about using them with Patrick.

Foreign Language....

I am not sure how old your child is... nor where you live.

I suggest finging someone that has the Muffy tapes before
you go and buy them. Some kids love them- some kids hate
them.

Perhaps your library carries them?

There are a series of Teach Me Tapes (CD or Cassete) that
teach many languages by singing. They would be geared
for the 8 & under group. For instance, there is Teach Me
Spanish and Teach Me More Spanish.

My daughter learned French by listening to Teach Me French
(it sings) and Madeline's Rescue book on CD. We just
listen to it in the car sometimes.

Usbourne Spanish & French

Hello!

Yes, I actually have the Usbourne Spanish & French Books & flashcards.
My daughter likes these too!! She spreads out the flashcards...like a
road.... and asks what some of them are. She does them when she
wants and stops when she wants. We don't drill her.

Sadly, the book & tape for Spanish & French that Usbourne makes is not available on CD. We have a CD player in the car- which is where she
likes to listen to foreign language. Once we're in the house- music is all about dancing, moving, and having a good time!

Have you thought about PowerGlide's Childrens' course? It is available on audio CD if you order directly from the company. We have the French and like it.

I know a couple of people who ordered Muffy and then returned it, so we skipped that one.
