Just wanting to compile a list. I searched through old posts and it seems there is New Life Midwifery, A Woman's Place, and HomeFirst. Anywhere else? thanks in advance!

Ah, thanks! I just emailed her. Have you used her?

No. I know her as a fellow Bradley teacher though

I will be birthing with the midwives from A Woman's Place. This is my first birth with them. My friend used them as well and recommended them highly.

Just curious - do they have more than one midwife now? I had heard that Amy left and it was just Jennifer - but I'm guessing that wasn't sustainable for the long term given the number of patients they take on.
I'm birthing with Sarah Simmons from New Life, and so far have been happy with her (though she's occasionally difficult to get ahold of).

I've learned that if I need to talk to her, even if it isn't urgent, I page her. She doesn't seem to mind and always calls back within minutes of paging her.

But yeah, leaving her messages on her voicemail is kinda fruitless.

She is training a new MW right now and by the time I deliver she'll be doing births on her own.

I'm currently using Debbie Boucher. I'll be delivering sometime in the next month so after that I'll be able to give a better perspective. So far I've been very happy with her.

There is soon to be another home birth midwife in the market! I saw a letter yesterday saying that Hillary Kieser from West Suburban Midwife Associates is leaving that practice to do homebirths!

She used to do home birth and now she's back. Woo hoo!

The new MW with Jennifer is Laura who is also an IBCLC! She's very sweet and I found their practice refreshingly hands off during a recent client's labor/delivery.
