Still pregnant And Very BORED!

Anybody else bored?
Now, I'm 3 days past my due date (which was 1/27). Doctor's pressuring me for induction. Husband and others ask how I'm feeling every day. This DDC is seriously running low on pregnant women and birth stories. I have run out of things to do to fill my day despite having 2 kids (one a toddler). I am trying to read a good book, but it's so hard NOT to think about when this baby is going to come.
And, I am not even having any signs of labor!!! There's just so much cooking, cleaning, and trying natural labor-inducing tricks you can do!!!!

I feel your pain from the other side! I went 6 days past my EDD, and I was SO SICK of being asked how I was doing by every person I met on the street. I didn't have any real signs of labor until 48 hours after my membranes were stripped. he came less than 24 hours after that. I also focused on reading a book to take my mind off the baby. Hang in there, it won't be much longer.

Just feeling sorry for you too. I had to wait 11 days past my EDD for this baby and only then because I had a reapeat C/S. (Labor never did come and the reason for the first two C/S were CPD--well this baby wasn't getting any smaller.)

I remember how you feel! I'm sure it doesn't help to say it can't be much longer. On this side of things--it is wonderful having my beautiful baby. But man, where do the days go? I'm so tired and have so many little things I want to get done--but it's impossible.

Try to enjoy your last few days of pregnancy.

I think my boredom/this wait would be bearable if I didn't have to worry about my doc and her staff pressuring me for induction. Becoz, now that's all I worry about...nothing's able to hold my interest at all!!!

Totally bored! I'm not allowed to drive right now, so I can't even go to the mall and walk around. DH thinks the mall is poison, so I can't get him to take me. I have been contracting since Thursday, but the only get to 8 min and stop. Sucks sooo bad! I'll have a baby one day right???!

I feel your boredom. I'm 3 days past my due date and I'm getting a little nervous. I went a full 2 weeks late with my DD so I was expecting this. But this time there is a two vessel cord and the midwife said that she probably won't let me go more than a week late. I'm hoping that I can convince her to give me more time if I agree to come in for more NSTs.

I got that bored feeling as I sailed right past 40 weeks. Then, at 41, I started to fill back up our schedule. I was trying to balance keeping busy with not planning too much that I'd end up needing to cancel. Having a little more to do has been good. And we're still waiting for babe to let us know it's time...
