wasn't there something about CDC or the vaccine companies talking to congress about the safety of vaccines and congress called them out on something they said? I remember reading this a little while back, but I don't have the information anymore I would like to find it again but I'm not having any luck currently.

I believe that you are refrring to the congressional hearings held from 2000-2004 where the IOM came out and admitted that the vaccines were not tested throughly for saftety.

Or perhaps the deabcle from 2000 when Dan Burton called them out on Thimerosol (simpsonwood) and the whole conflict of interest stuff?? Not sure which you are referring to??

i believe in 2007 a statement was made where the CDC admits to congress that their studies were inaccurate and didn't prove anything...

The Vaccine Safety Datalink they are talking about is epidemiological information that CDC uses to form "studies" that "prove" vaccine safety. This Congressional report points out the weaknesses of using the VSD and that it cannot be relied on to accurately base these studies on, to which the CDC has agreed.
