Good NIP article in Mpls. Star-Tribune

Here's a pretty good article in today's Minneapolis Star-Tribune about NIP in general and Facebook in particular:

It ain't perfect, but I applaud the emphasis on NIPers who are just trying to do right, and why our society makes it hard for them to do so.

I am sorry I did not find the article very pro-NIP.

I thought it was a pretty decent article. It definitely communicated that moms who NIP are just trying to feed their babies, not show off their boobs.

Of course, the lactivist in me would have liked to see more of a pro-NIP slant, but the journalist in me thinks the article was quite balanced.

That's exactly what I thought. It wasn't a NIP public service announcement. But it was a balanced piece of journalism, which is precisely what a newspaper article on current events should be.
