Thanks!! My beta is scheduled for 12dp iui, which would be 14 dp trigger. So, I think I'm just gonna try and wait it out since I would hate a false positive, or a false negative.

Julia's mom, my clinic does do betas after IUIs and they schedule them exactly two weeks from the IUI date. As far as poas goes, I've taken to doing it the morning of my beta just because I feel like I should be the first one that knows the result (whichever way it turns out) and I like being prepared for the phone call.

Well after 2 weeks of BCP the cyst has only gone from 67cm to 58cm (I think it is cm or is it mm?) Anyway on BCP for one more week and if the cyst isn't gone or way smaller like 6cm he wants to go in laporscopically<---spelled that wrong. to remove it. With my insurance my max out of pocket is $5,000. Hope these pills work and shrink it in a week.

Anything I can do to make it go away. Vitamins, foods, a metal hanger? lol

I cried at the office then came home and ran to the grocery store with DH. Guess what the three 13 year olds were buying in front of us? A PREGNANCY TEST! GRRR!!!

I think I remember someone on here using accupuncture to get rid of a cyst successfully.

It was me. Becky, I had a 5cm (the sizes you listed are mm) one from Clomid and they were talking surgical removal, but an acup. treatment and chi-clearing herbs (something like bupluerum?) totally helped me. I've recommended it to others and it doesn't always do the trick, but it did for me. Good Luck and Sorry.

AFM: IUI today at 2pm. 1 follicle that was 22 not 18 DH has the around the same as Daisy-

We shall see.

As for me, I woke up this morning to some spotting. I'm praying it's only implantation spotting and not the beginning of af. I'm 7 dpiui and have 5 more days until beta.

Hi Ladies!!

I'm just curious if I may join this thread?? I am on day 2 of clomid (100mg), I'll be doing IUI once I ovulate (fingers crossed that I do!!).

I'm feeling ok, no side effects yet, although when I took it last year I never had any side effects either.....so we'll see!! I have an ultrasound on the 2nd of March to see if it's working!!!

If this cycle doesn't work then it's onto injectibles.

AFM- Got a + OPK today so our IUI is tomorrow morning. Although I am kinda worried about the timing because I have been O'ing about 36 hours after the + OPK. Our IUI will be 24 hours after our +OPK this time. That leaves 12 hours that the sperm have to wait around for the egg. And we all know that washed sperm don't live nearly as long as unwashed.

Oh my gosh, I didn't know washed sperm didn't live as long!
Sorry you're worried about the timing, I guess they wouldn't let you come in in the afternoon?

Well, I should say, my husband's doesn't live as long. We have male factor issues.

Oh and they are only open in the morning.

I am trying to remain positive.

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies...i went to have an ultrasound today and omg my left ovary is flippin HUGE!!! She said not to worry it will go down...she also said that I could come in wed to have a beta test done...or i could just wait until af is supposed to show up and test then...idk what i should do..apart of me wants to test early but another part of me doesnt want to see or hear that its negative

I've been lurking on the board for a few weeks and I think I belong on this thread mostly.

Basic Intro:

I'm 27, DH is 41. We've been TTC #1 since June 2007 (so about 21 months now). Testing indicates that I don't naturally produce sufficient progesterone leves to maintain a pregnancy (and there is some question as to whether I naturally ovulate anything useful) and that DH has sperm count that, although apparently workable, is not good.

We've done 4 IUIs with oral meds (Clomid on the first three and Femara on the fourth) and progesterone supplementation now--the blood test came back BFN on the most recent one this morning. Per the scan, with Femara I had a good follicle, good lining, etc., so it seems that at this point the male factor may be a greater problem.

Day 1 of my next cycle should be Sunday and I get to call back monday for a new Femara prescription and start IUI cycle 5 with Femara and progesterone suppositories. Meh.
