Lauren, sorry this wasn't your cycle. I am glad to see that your cycle is regulating itself though. I think you definately ovulated (on your own!) and your LP is much improved. : for this next cycle.

Congrats LibbyLou! :: Don't worry and Enjoy your pregnancy!

I have been enjoying temping and reading through tcoyf. I know it has been said a million times, but it really is amazing how much basic info we aren't taught about our cycles.

It is so cool that just by taking my temp I can actually know whether I am o'ing or not....Wow. Just by taking my temp...

Don't worry, I will get my chart linked up soon, so I can help feed everyone's chart-stalking obsession.

Sure is nice to have a fresh thread, thanks snow~pea!

Your welcome everyone. Like I said, I really enjoy doing it. I think it feeds my obsessive compulsive nature and my need for order .

Lauren-- Sorry it didn't work out for this cycle, but there is a great positive here: you have a full, normal cycle (for you!) under your belt, which can give you more confidence for when you DO get pregnant that your body really does know what to do So yay!

AFM-- Anyone else have a hilariously efficient cycle? Mine just went "heavy flow, heavy flow, GONE!" Like someone had the sink on full-blast and then turned it off, lol. I'll take it over seven days of spotting!

Lauren, I'm glad you're at peace with your AF, you sound a lot like I felt last AF. I knew I wasn't pg, but just wanted AF. But seriously, what a beautiful, normal cycle for you! Now next cycle you should be all set!

Jenna, my DH is weird like that. I can't even mention TTC or he FREAKS out. It's like he's ok doing it and has said he wants to make me happy and another kid is fine, yadda yadda yadda...but if I even mention TTC or something that relates to it, it totally stresses him out and kills the mojo. We are talking about a guy who has worked FT while going to school FT and having a wife, child, and house to take care of, so obviously can handle some heavy stress...but NOT that kind!

No advice but to avoid the pre-seed!

I wish! I though last cycle would be like that because CD 2 was fast and furious, but no luck, I still spotted for the next 5 days or so. Good for you!

Yah Libby ::: i'm so excited for you guys!!

Lauren - for having your body O by itself! That is a great sign of things to come in the near future.

Feb is the month of good things!

My AF is coming today, it might wait out till tonight while I'm sleeping... but it is coming. I'm excited about charting this next month though. I'm curious though to see how it changes when dd wakes up during the night. Will I still be able to get a somewhat accuracte basal temp?

Off to drink some RRL.

JENNA-- My husband is like that too, a little. He thinks we're "just seeing what happens" but I keep reminding him that I can't chart and know when I ovulate and really NOT be actively trying. He doesn't want to talk about it too much because if sex is about babies and not about sex, the mojo is gone LIKE THAT. Meanwhile, for me, the concept of "BDing" is exactly what attracts me to it-- for me, it's about the intimacy and being able to create life through an act that makes it "magical," so to speak, you know? But he gets stressed about that. We agreed that I won't tell him when I'm Oing, I'll just get him interested

jenna_rios: I just wanted to say that my DH can be pretty touchy about the whole thing as well. He doesn't want to hear anything about temping, charting o'ing or just ttc, really. I think he has that deep down fear that if he can't "get me pregnant" on the first try that his masculinity is threatened somehow. He definitely would NOT go along with preseed--No way! I think he would barf at just the mention of something called "preseed"!

As you can tell, you are not alone with your DH not being that into the ttc stuff.

I guess, as far as advice, I would not use the preseed. It is more important to have DH happy. Don't get discouraged about the whole ttc just because he doesn't want to use it though.

Women with PCOS are at a much higher chance of m/c, so I'm really nervous, but I'm trying to stay positive. There's a picture of yesterday's test in my blog. The line isn't super dark, but its there. I'll probably post one of today's test later today.
Whoo-hoo!!!! ::: Congrats!

Yay Libby!

I am sick and oh so not happy about it. I am upping my SA intake to try and kick this outta my system before it gets worse. Hopefully its gone before my ND appointment Friday.

LOLOLOL. AF just made a huge liar out of me. What is up with a heavy flow being present overnight, vanishing not long after waking for a few HOURS, and then returning with zeal? What??? :

Thanks yall. well we talked some more, and he apoligized and said he felt it was different but ok. well gladly he convinced me not to give up, and good thing, cuz i went and did an OPK and POSITIVE!!! so he agreed to the pre-seed (as long as foreplay was involved) so we did one round today, one yesterday with the pre-seed (i dont think i make enough)

Hi girls,
I guess I'm back. The break was much needed. My DH has put me on progesterone. I'm supposedly estrogen high. So I'm on that and everything I was on before. My boss also told me she's trying again. She'll probably get preggo first. I'm hoping not. Anyways I hope everyone else is doing well.

I want to join!! (Bold not working)

Hello all. I posted this in the January by accident. I'm 29 and my husband and I have been TTC #1 since June 08. On CD37 and tested CD35 . I have many symptoms. This coming Friday will be 1 week late for AF. Should I call RE if no AF??? This is our last natural cycle before starting Fertility treatment.
Any input welcome! I love reading what everyone else has to say. All of you ae so understanding and great to talk to!

Hopefully a lot of us will get and to all of us TTC for 2009
