Thank you so much for all the well-wishes ladies! We're trying to hold off telling anyone IRL until we see a heartbeat. If I wasn't able to share the news with all of you, I think I might explode.

I think we are going to hope for Germany, Carson, Campbell, Stewart, Lewis. I would be happy with any of them too!

I'm 29 and my husband and I have been TTC #1 since June 09. I'm on CD 37 and tested on CD35 (exactly 2 weeks after o). This is our last natural cycle. When AF comes it's fertility drugs, here I come.

I ovulated January 16th. Exactly 2 weeks from this past Friday, when I took the hpt.

Not that I'm assisting in you possibly beginning to obsess over symptoms but cramping at 5 dpo could be a good thing. Did you eat any beans, broccoli, cabbage, or other gassy foods today or last night that could be tricking you?

very well could be!! test in 2 days. (take in mind i am a poas-aholic )

i have a question, i got my pos OPK at around 11am well i took another one at about 1:20 (for reason, see above parathensis) and it was neg, but still had a decent line. the one i took last night was completely neg, like no line at all cept maybe the faintest pink at the top. so is this a real pos OPK i mean, i have a pic, but i have no idea how to send from my phone.
also, the past couple hours, i have been having little pains, but on both sides (took soy this month im on cd12)

The symptoms I have are bloating, useing the bathroom almost every hour, very sore breasts (not normally this sore with AF), going to bed a lot earlier, very nausea, lightheaded and dizzy at times,and lower abdominal cramping ( which is different from after ovulation and when I have AF).

It sounds like you have early pg symptoms. I would take a blood test tomorrow if I were you.

even though it hasn't been unusual for me to be a week late since we've been ttc?

By saying you've been a week late is confusing to me. If your cycles were consistently a week late then I think it would be safe to assume that: A) You are actually ovulating later than you think. OR B) Your Luteal phase has lengthened. Both of which are perfectly normal. I do not have the same cycle now that I had 5 years ago. Do you chart your temps? I'm assuming you do if you have a general idea of when you O. Or perhaps you're having hormonal shifts that are causing your exacerbated symptoms?

My cycles the past 6 months have been 36 - 37 days. Before ttc my cycles were consistent, 28 - 32 days. Since we started ttc, they've gotten longer. My obgyne said that it was normal with ttc'ing! This month feels different from the last 6 months. If I don't get AF by this coming Friday, would u suggest call RE to schedule blood test. Plus, I was planning on doing a hpt test either Tuesday or Wednesday.

What do u think?

I don't chart. I have what's called an OV Watch. It gives you your 4 fertile days and 2 best ovulation days. You start to wear it with your first day of your AF. It detects chemicals that rise and fall around your AF and ovulation. It really works. Plus my husband and I have been using pre- seed tha last 4-5 months.
