Next full moon is on Feb 9th!!!!

They say more babies are conceived and born during the full moon than at any other time. I'm already past my due date by almost 5 days (EDD:1/27). (Hopefully it'll happen SOONER than full moon for me....)

Yes, next Monday sounds like a lovely day to have a baby. I was asking my kids when they think this baby will be born. My oldest said "two weeks, on a Saturday". My youngest said "next Tooday" (Tuesday). I really hope my youngest is right! Hopefully, a big beautiful moon will help her prediction come to pass!

I hope you go sooner though skmama! My first two came a tad early and with this one I am sure I'll be pregnant longer. You must be going out of your mind! Hugs to you!

Thanks birthworks. I need those hugs! If I didn't have a traditional OB, I would be more relaxed, I'm sure. But, some of these traditional docs go nuts after someone hits 40 wks!!! Your youngest sounds adorable. Maybe she'll get her wish....that's close to the full moon....

That is the date of my next prenatal appointment...it actually would be a good day for me, dh isn't working that day nor does he have class...I will be 39 weeks so I am doubtfull...my kids just keep getting later and later! Last one was 13 days late I am thinking the 24th???

Going late is hard, even without the presure from a freaking out OB! I'm sorry they are putting your through such stress, skmama!

I'm hoping for the full moon! My last was born on a full moon.

My due date is technically next Friday....

Both my other babies were born 3-4 weeks early so I'm excited this one seems intent on sticking around to term. :

I hope she waits another week because I've just come down with my kids' cold : and it is pretty miserable...

That's within a day of my due date and Dd was born during the full moon so I hope it works this time too!

I was overdue and ended up having DD on a full moon. Was also the spring equinox. I thought it was pretty cool, actually was hoping I'd go late so I'd have her on that day.

Originally I thought the ninth was my due date. Now it looks like it might be more like the 14th or so. My first son was a full moon baby but my second son was a new moon baby! So I have no idea what to expect with this one.

It'll be fun to see how many full moon babies we get in this DDC!

I don't really want to go that long as I'll be 41 weeks but it would be kind of neat.

Oh I hope and pray that i go then or before. my Dr scheduled my induction for next tuesday (the 10th) and I DON"T wanna be induced again!!! (Where's that bawling smiley... !!!!!! ) I've eaten pineapple, had a massage, with reflexology done, walked and walked, had sex, done all these thing sin hopes to get her out on or just before her duedate to avoid teh dreded induction (it happens with all my kids.. i get just past my EDD and my BP rises and legs swell.... adn then induced!) I went today and BP was up, leg swollen and I'm not technically DUE for 3 days!!! So i go back Friday to see if my BP and cervix and leg have changed at all.... so he sent me off with an induction date an a list of people to see (herbalist, masseuse, etc) So we cna try ot get things going more naturally than with teh pitocin.... he said to hope for a full moon as well So I guess maybe there is hope!! For teh record, i'm abotu 90 percent effaced and 1-2 dialated.. i know tha tmeans nothgin really.. but it's so frustrating!!!!! Sorry to rant here. ANyway.. back to praying on that full moon!

According to my charting I am due on the 9th, but by the doctor's wheel I'm due on the 10th. I wouldn't mind going before then, but it's nice to know there's a full moon coming up!

The 9th is my official due date and I like the sound of it: 02-09-09. I was just hoping to NOT have the baby today, since my doctor is out of town today. I don't like his partner, and he promised to come in even if he isn't on call just for me, but I don't think that covered out of town trips!

Either way, I find that I am beyond unbearably irritable with everyone and really need to have this baby before I alienate everyone I know! I wasn't like this when I was carrying boys (I asked my honest friends, really!), so maybe it is too many female hormones going on!!

Let's go baby girl. Time to get this show on the road!
