Also just read that Adams peanut butter is safe to eat! : So... I'm wondering now if it could have been the peanuts Todd was buying from Winco that made Lily sick? We are still all OK over here. :

Man, I would LOVE to go to SF again. I haven't been there since I was in college and went for spring break in 1997. That was an AWESOME trip! Before that, I hadn't been there since I was about a kid, with my parents, just passing through.
We always had dinner or something at the Happy Hippo though. I wonder if that's still there? I didn't check when I was there last, because I thought stuff like Planet Hollywood was cool then.
Yeah, there are a few different strains running around out there too, so you're lucky if you got the right one. I always take oscillo once a week now. Not to say I'll never get the flu, but they change the strain every year, and we can hope it's the right one, right? : I also have a list of homeopathic remedies according to symptoms, so if I have to I can send out for reinforcements that way. They can at least lessen the severity/shorten duration, etc.
Anyway, I find it to be a good alternative, although, to each their own. I think if I had a truly compromised immune system or were taking auto-immune meds I might consider getting the flu shot, since it can be more dangerous for people with truly compromised immune systems.
Yeah, auto-immune meds can definitely make it harder, especially this time of year, for obvious reasons.
Korin, what happens to an adult if they get RSV? Is it something adults can get? Please get lots of rest! You too, Jenn!
I KNOW my period looms... because I started to cry when I read about this. Oy... Poor Joey! I haven't even met the guy, but still... knees are important, 'non?
I agree! Not only will they let you bring wine, but they do sell it too. I forgot a bottle the last time Todd and I rode it, so I bought one on board. Wasn't the best wine I've ever had, but it still added to the experience.
I'm pretty sure the Coast Starlight route goes through SF, but you'd have to check for sure. There are a couple different ones that run down CA.
Yeah, personally? I'll never buy a GM car, because big brother's new name is OnStar.
I heard, although haven't been able to find the story ETA here it is... because Todd told me about it a week ago, that the police were able to get a warrant against a couple of mobsters who were talking about something incriminating in an Escalade.
Me no likey... I mean, I'm all for fighting crime, but not that way. I also don't like the fact that they can use it to monitor your speeds without your knowledge.
Man, I sound like Dale Gribble this morning, don't I?
so my fever is posted at 101.7...isn't coming down...im either too cold or too hot....now i've got crud from both ends...this is SO MISERABLE...poor campbell and poor max are just stuck watching movies with me and all they want to do is play...this is where I start feeling like a bad parent
I just looked at the amtrak coast starlight route because I was curious, and it actually goes through both Sacramento and Oakland... so... almost to SF.
