Heroes is back tonight

And I'm not really that excited. The show has been so all over the place without any real substance it's been driving me nuts. I think this is it's last chance for me. And I don't really like this new angle of them being on the run and such.

Your thoughts?

I haven't watched it at all this season, I just couldn't get into it. My sister keeps telling me that it's good so I may have to DVR tonight's episode and catch up with the rest online.

I'm excited for it to be back on. Despite its problems, Heroes is still probably my favorite first-run show right now. I think a big part of it is I genuinely like (or like to dislike) a lot of the characters so I will overlook the plots. It also feels like it moves better since I started watching it on Netflix instant view (no commercials).

I can't wait. I'm really interested in where they are going with Nathan's character. What kind of person turns on their own? What will the repercussions be if Hiro doesn't jump back to "fix it".

I'm looking forward to it. Heroes suffers from great expectations. I don't think it can ever be as good as the first season when everything was still being revealed. Last season it got way off track with too many time lines. I'm still messed up and don't know what really happened and what hasn't happened because Hiro (or Peter) went back and changed something.

And I can't help but wonder how much character development and back-story the writers created for main characters from the start and how much they just make up along the way. For example, we just found that Sylar was made horrible by Elle and Noah. That just doesn't ring true to me. I mean, I'll take their word for it, but it doesn't feel right. So I wonder if they ever write the plot to accommodate fan preferences for particular actors. Eh. I don't know where I'm going with this. I expect too much from them.

Karen Ann, I like your location.

Dear Peter,

Congrats on getting your powers back. Please stop hugging your family members. Nothing good comes from it.

It was a decent episode. I wonder, if Peter got his powers back, is it only a matter of time for Hiro?
