FYI, the national MANA midwifery conference is Oct 23-25 so if your due date is around there, you might have a hard time finding a midwife. Better get it booked quickly!

I'm due Oct 18, 1 week before this conference. The midwife I've been planning on using might not be able to take me because of this conference. I completely understand and know how important it is to go to things like this. I've worked in the lactation field and found conferences a real morale boost.

So, my midwife is suppose to call me back soon to let me know if she will take me.

Oh no!! My EDD is 10/20! I hope I can find a midwife in the area. Where's the conference - maybe I could just go there, check into a hotel and have my choice of midwives!!

It is somewhere in CA.

My midwife says she didn't go last year so she is really planning on going this year. (She is a homebirth midwife.)
