almost AF?

HI. Im hoping someone may have an idea for me as to what this cycle means.
I have only had AF back 3 months. baby is 20mo. so far every cycle has been right on time, very heavy. This one started the same, cramping a couple days before, face broke out, bloating...but I only had about 2 days of what I couldnt even call spotting. a few little brownish stained spots then, nothing. So what the heck WAS that!? any ideas? We have been using the pull out method. I would REALLY LOVE to be PG. Dh, not so much... (oh-I am still nursing DD)
So, any ideas??

I think that there's a potential for pregnancy. Some women get a super light 'period' during the first month (or longer) of pregnancy. I'd test if I were you.

If it was implantation spotting then you should get a positive pg test a few days later. If it's been at least a few days and the test is neg then I'd assume you had a bit of anovulatory bleeding.

I guess the only other thing it could be, besides everything that's been mentioned is the possibility that you ovulated 2 weeks late, and what you had was ovulation spotting. ...but considering you've been regular, that seems a little unlikely.

A few things-

I was wondering if DD was nursing more, could it make me STOP ovulating? this is probly a dumb question...? you ladies know more about this than i do

I called the Birth Center today- the nurse said it could just be too soon, but pg was possible. also, she helped me think of something...when I was pg w/ DD. I had done a home preg.test that was +. I was having really bad left lower abdominal pain-DR sent me to ER thinking I had an eptopic. It wasn't (obviously). I had a cyst (can remember the name) they said it was supporting the fetus. ANYWAY-they did a boold test there to confirm pg. the count was so low that they said they weren't sure I was really pg. They did an ultrasound that confimed it (and the cyst). The nurse said it could be the same deal, my hormones could just be lower than normal. She thinks I should wait 5-10 days and test again.

I have endometriosis- but that has always produced the opposite problem. WAY too much bleeding...

Hi again- I got some spotting today...

You know that you and I are in the same lingo... I started spotting Wednesday. My period should had arrived on the 7th I am pretty regular since I have been taking clomid... I spotted light pink only when I used the bathroom still spotting had very mild cramps and I broke out, I feel bloated but I don't think I could be pregnant.
