...when I say the flu shot is worthless. While he has been lying on the couch with 103.9 fever and horrible body aches with influenza, the children and I have been enjoying our days playing outside and baking together (yes, we did take care of him too!). We've been using elderberry extract for preventative measures and lo and behold it seems that the elderberry far excedes the flu vaccination in worth!
By the way, DH came through just fine although he kept saying to me "Don't people die of the flu?" I told him if he could be coherent with 103.9 fever I was pretty sure he wasn't going to die!
