Fiona Aileen arrived on Feb 1st at 2:48 after 40 hours of labor! We are doing great and home from the hospital today. She weighed 6.6 pounds and 19.5 inches at birth. I'll post pictures soon!

We are both doing great. It was such a long hard labor but DH and my amazing doula got me through it. I didn't use any drugs and the only intervention was breaking my water after I had already started pushing. Her little fist came out with her head and I pushed for two hours but managed to have only one small tear. I was able to totally relax using the hypnobabies imagery between contractions and various mantras during each contraction. I wouldn't wish for 40 hours of labor again obviously but I wouldn't change a thing. I'm so happy to finally have her here!
