So does anyone buy into the whole chinese birth calendar thing? I have heard of it but never even looked at it until the other day when I stumbled upon one on a pregnancy site and to my suprise it was correct for all of the children I have had this far.

According to this chart I am having a boy..........freaky.

Wait, I read it wrong. It says I will have a girl. AWSOME.: O'please o'please o'please.

Can you post the link for the one you're using? There are SO many of them out there, I don't know that I believe them at all. I was talking to a friend of mine about them last night though and she said of the 20 babies she's known that have been born in the last few years it's gotten all 20 right. It was wrong for my oldest and right for DS#2 so I'm just banking on a 50/50 with this one.

I did several, they all said my son would be a girl. lol.

It's fun but that's all it is. They said my son was a girl and my girls were boys.

I think you have to use your lunar age and lunar month though - not just your calendar month and age. For example, although I'm 27, I think in lunar years I'm 28 and February isn't the second month in lunar months. There are converters online to use. The chinese birth calendar says my first was a boy if I do it with calendar month and age (she's a girl), but it gets it correct with lunar age and month. It says I'm having another girl (hope so!).

Try it with lunar age and month and see if it's right.

It said my son should have been a girl.

You have to use your lunar age, which is drastically different than your calendar age. I am 29 and will turn 30 in march but my lunar age 31. This predictor converts calendar to lunar:

I agree -- just for fun. It says my son was supposed to be a girl. And I had both answers for this baby, so we'll just have to see.

astar - I was able to select conception all the way through 2010 by just clicking on the drop down. Not sure what the problem is.

Don't know the reality of it, but it's been right for my two girls. I use this one:

it says boy this time, and I REALLY hope it's right!

It says I'm having a boy, it was 'right' for DS.

It was right for two of my children and wrong for the other two. 50/50 is normal odds so I think it is just for fun.
